Java issues with Heatmap under vOPS 6.3?
It seems I'm battling to get the heat map working in 6.3. I'm using firefox 18.0.1 and I've approved the java applet to run whenever I connect to the vOPS site. However every time it launches I get a page error. Looking at the java console it is telling me the following ( I have edited out the domain name):
network: Cache entry not found [url: http://vops.xxxxx.com/, version: null]
network: Cache entry not found [url: http://vops.xxxxx.com/com/labescape/explorer/applet/HeatMapExplorerApplet.class, version: null]

I did some more digging and located the source of the issue. There are problems running in the heat map with Cisco AnyConnect VPNs. I ended up having to disable IPv6 on my VPN client to get the heat map to run.

Hello -
After some investigating, we believe the problem to be localized, we are unable to reproduce this here in our labs. It appears to be an issue with Java. We have found there can be some issues with specific browsers, versions, and JAVA. You can use this link to check for any potential issues with JAVA and your browser: http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp
Also check Oracle's website for some advise about fixing Java errors.
Thank you.
