Where to find a view
The VM tab on the Cluster vmExplorer in vFoglight has a view on it that I want to add in to a custom dashboard. I went in to Configuration -> Definitions and found that the name of the view is "Virtual Machine CPU Details (used/ready)" from the Module "VMware/Virtual Machine"
I would think that I should be able to drag the Virtual Machines from the data tab of creating a dashboard and then select the view that I am looking for. The problem I have is the above named view is not listed when I drag the Virtual Machines and then click on Select a View.
I'm running version 6.6.1.
Any help on this?

Select esxServer/parent/name and then do is "Cluster Name". Basically the parent of any ESX Server is a Cluster, unless it's not in a cluster and then it would be the Datacenter.

Yes, I saw the bar chart. That's not what I want. I want to know how to find that specific view that is listed. You'll notice that the bar chart is the top half of the page in vmExplorer that I mentioned in my initial post.

Nope. I only want the view (the table) that is the bottom part of the tab.

If you drag out all Virtual Machines and look by module (uncheck by Role), under the VMware -> Virtual Machine module you should find a CPU Bar chart. You could then filter that view based on name or such as it's limited to how many it shows.

It can be done with simple drag and drop table. If you drag out Virtual Machines you could select Name, CPUs -> Host CPUs -> Utilization, and CPUs -> Percent Ready Time Depending on what you want you could then select the render as the current or time period average for those. You can also then filter that table based on cluster membership or such.

What are you wanting? The entire tab contents?

I tried going this route, but, I couldn't figure out how to filter the VMs by cluster. Any idea on how to filter by cluster?
