I assume you are referring to the audio message, no output device. Does Device Manager show any errors with the sound device? Run diagnostics, F12 at boot, and watch for any problems with the sound. Have you made any changes or updates prior to this problem? Have you tried reinstalling the sound drivers?

• Open SupportAssist * Navigate to Get Drivers & Downloads * Click the Run Now button * If any drivers are updated, restart the computer when done * Once back into Windows, click the Start menu * Type audio troubleshooter and search for Find and fix problems with playing sound * In the troubleshooter, select the audio device and click on next * Follow the on screen instructions * When done, restart your computer
