Question

Is there any way to speed up the Unisphere management interface for VPlex and/or is there another application in the works that can manage the VPlex more efficiently (not including ViPR)?

Are you running 5.3? There have been improvements made in GUI response times in this version

we encountered the same problem with a VPLEX ( Metro setup ) running on 5.2.xx and it seems to be a known issue ( software in the bug  ) The workaround is to restart the management console ( which is non-disruptive ).the command for doing this is service@VPLEX-Cluster1:/> cd /etc/init.dservice@VPLEX-Cluster1:/etc/init.d> sudo ./VPlexManagementConsole restart
