Hello Bill ,

I installed Dell support 3.4. I gives the following error.

Dell support will not run since all your channels are inactive.
If you wish to reactivate Dell support, simply enable a channel through dell support settings.
Would you like to run dell support settings now ? ..

if yes it opens DSS ., but all channels are active.

HI Bill,

thank you, that helped!

I noticed that the file from where you suggested is 7 something MB while the one suggested by the download site is 6 something.

Bill,

Please check my reply in the thread you just posted a link to. You cannot get to the clock icon because the Dell Support tool does not run, instead you get what appears to be a Java window telling you that the tool will not run since all channels are disabled. When I click Yes to run Dell Support Settings, I get a window to configure options, but there is no button for Channels, only one that says General. This is not simply a case of us not knowing how to run the tool.

Thanks Bill,

I tried that with the same results. No go. I've also been on the phone with Dell Support for several hours. They finally said they would have to research and get back to me. :smileysad:

I am having a similar problem - trying to install Dell Support 3.4 on my Dimension 9200 with Vista 32-bit Ultimate - every time I try to install I get message "Internal error 2739" - any ideas anyone ?

Have Dimension 9200 running Vista Ultimate (Upgrade). Had 3.2 on system when running on XP - tried to update to 3.2.1 but got the "wrong country code" message when trying to install (see other streams re this problem - something to do with systems being set up as "GB", but Windows only recognising "UK" as a country) - upgraded from XP to Vista Ultimate and 3.2.1 problem persisted. Now trying to upgrade to 3.4 but getting "Internal Error 2739" message both when trying to install 3.4 and when trying to uninstall 3.2.

Tell me how to post the screenshot and I'll do it with pleasure - afraid my technical knowledge is very basic, so I will need step-by-step guidance.

I have the U.S. English version of Vista, but have the same problems with 3.4 and Audigy as you have in the Russian version !
