Full backups OK - subsequent backups "The backup location cannot be found or is not valid"
I'm running Vista Ultimate, backing up to an 80GB external hard drive - 65GB free, formatted with FAT32.
The first/bull backup runs OK - and I see the full backup set in the drive...but after that I keep getting error message (omitted some of of the words)
The backup location cannot be found or is not valid. (0x81000006)
What could be causing this issue?

There is a file size limitation in FAT32 (4GB), you will need to format that drive NTFS for Vista backup to work properly, the backup file is too large for FAT32.
The file grows with subsequent backups.

Hey mombodog...nice to see you again.
I thought it might have something to do with it, based on other people having similar questions...
but...
the first/full PC backup set was 10.8 GB - if the FAT32 limitation was the problem, shouldn't it have prevented the first/full backup also?

I think that is the uncompressed size.
