My computer Icon on desktop

Question

I just rebuilt my computer window (XP pro) and I forget how to display my computer icon on desktop. Can somebody tell me how. Thanks

Right click an empy space on your deskto and select "Properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the Desktop tab, then, at the bottom, click on Customize Desktop. On the General tab put a check mark next to My Computer.

Thanks for your help. I did not remember that it takes that many steps to display that icon.

Pc8200, You can also click on Start. Right click on My Computer. Left Click on 'Show on Desktop'. Tony
