FreeSync/G-Sync monitors, compatible with Intel UHD 630 video?
I'm not interested at all in the AMD FreeSync/Nvidia G-Sync feature.
My relatively new XPS 8930 has the onboard Intel UHD 630 video.
I'm seeing some bargains on 27" AMD FreeSync/Nvidia G-Sync monitors and wonder if they'll also work as "conventional" monitors, plugged in to either HDMI or Displayport?
I'm still using my ancient 19" 4:3 monitor at 1280x1024, and it's time to upgrade.

In order for a AMD FreeSync monitor to work (with AMD FreeSync features), the monitor must be connected to a compatible AMD graphics card or integrated APU system via a HDMI or DisplayPort connection. For Nvidia G-Sync to work it must be a compatible Nvidia graphics card. So neither of the additional AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync features will work with integrated UHD graphics. But, any of these AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync monitor will work with UHD graphics as a standard/conventional monitor running at 60Hz, just without those additional Sync features.

As I said, I'm not interested at all in the Sync feature, just looking for a decent 27" monitor at a decent price.
