I recently upgraded from IT assistant to OME.  I installed OME on a new server and have discovered my required servers.

I received this alert yesterday (hostname and ip address redacted)  via our configured e-mail alert.

Device:SERVERNAME xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Service Tag:xxxxxxx, Asset Tag:, Date:23/06/2014, Time:12:41:06, Severity:Warning, Message:Warning Status Alert. Device: SERVERNAME

 

The problem is this doesn't tell me what the problem is.  In this case, it was a failed hard drive.

I get the same basic alert when a server is offline or looses connection to the OME server (we have a lot of remote sites that are monitored over the WAN. 

How do I configure the alerts to contain usefull information?  a loss of network conectivity to a remote site is ok, but a failed hard drive obviously needs to be looked at straight away.
