Latitude 6320 Battery Charge Issue
I reinstalled Win 10
Now the battery only charges occasionally -- seems like when the battery gets low enough.
Often I connect the charging cable and the battery charge lights briefly illuminates then turns off. What I expect is for the light to then come back and stay on, while the battery charges until reacing 100%. . However, in this case the tray icon indicates "plugged in", but the battery is not charging. Also, when I turn off the computer the battery charge iindicator light briefly illuminates to indicate the computer does, in fact, recognize that the laptop is plugged in.
I have tried several remedies such as turn off computer, taking battery out, pressing power button, then putting all back in, but still, no charge.
I should say that the battery does not discharge when plugged in. Even though the battery is not charging, I can use the computer all day long. It will remain partially charged all day long.
All these symptoms happen whatever AC adapter I use. I have several chargers to use.
I have latest Bios installed (A22). The Dell site does say the this computer is not compatible with Win 10. What am I supposed to make of that? What does Dell expect the 6320 series to not be able to do with Win 10?
