Non-ECC or ECC RDRAM

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 with 256 megs of RDRAM. How can I determine if this is ECC or Non-ECC? If it is Non ECC and I add ECC will I have a problem? The Dell packing slip says: "Item 53NMP Module, RIMM, 256, 2X 128, 800M, Desktop".
I assume 800M is the same as PC 800? I would like to add Mfr#:KTD-DM800E/512 Mfr:Kingston (518 meg ECC).

I am using WIN XP and it does seem to suckup a lot more memory than Win ME.
Thanks, Dick
