I have a Dell Soundblaster Live Value. People I talk with say I should have a "What you Hear" selection on the mixer to be able to record what you hear on the audio out speakers. Mine DOES NOT have this selection. Talking to Soundblaster says they wont support this card becuase its a Dell proprietary design. I did replace the Dell SB with a storebought Live and it did have the feature but there were other problems with incompatibility from old recordings, so I had to put the old card back in and lost the "Waht your hear" feature.

Does anyone have a 3 year old or so Dell with their Soundblaster Live Value card. I think its proprietary becuase it as audio on the front panel. Do you have the "What you hear" selection in your recorder?

any thoughts on if or how I can get that feature on my 8300.
