When I was going about my business a few days ago the laptop screen suddenly went white and the whole thing locked up.  Now whenever I power it up it just goes to a white screen with pink lines running through it.  I can't get it to do anything or even display the BIOS.  Any ideas??  I need this for work and i'm really stressed out at the moment!

I've tried the usual like removing the battery, etc, with no luck!
