Hi,

I signed into my dell account and tried to download the drivers for my inspirion 1505 using the correct tag #.  I was able to download all the suggested drivers but two of them were listed as an issue.  MM061A17.EXE and  R171789.exe are the drivers that IE9  red flagged " The publisher of this program couldn't be verified " and some of the possible causes per "more info" in the download dialog box were  -  certificate was revoked, virus altered, etc.

Please tell me if this is normal as the other drivers that was listed under my tag downloaded with no issue and now I am wondering if these files are tampered with or if it is an issue with IE9.  I have downloaded them with firefox and am still wondering if they are safe or need to fixed / replaced on the website.

 

Please also let me know what is the correct order to install the drivers as I had spent several hours re-installing them on another system (studio 1555) and finally had to contact support to have him remote access my system and through device manager install the chipset driver manually for the sm bus controller.

Thanks for any help in advance as I am trying to complete the install of the OS after replacing the hard drive with a new one.
