Inspiron 3471 noise.

New Inspiron 3471. Noise coming from left side air vent. Is this normal?

You may want to repost this in the Inspiron Desktop forum here. This is a workstation forum. But to answer the question, that left side vent is for the CPU fan. The fan noise will increase however when the CPU is getting worked and requires more cooling. So you may hear the fan speed increasing. If you are concerned you can contact Dell tech support for assistance with any warranty repair issues.
