Go to SolutionServer upgraded 2008 to 2012 SAN Headquarters app server log folder issue
I upgraded a server from 2008 to 2012 R2. I believe this server had the first installation of SAN Headquarters installed. I also have the SAN Headquarters app on my local PC desktop. The app failed on to run on the server so I re-installed it - it prompted for the log directory - I could not locate a log directory locally but I believe I found the log on a network file server - so I pointed to i t. I also copied the folder to the local C: Drive of the server the SAN HQ app is running on.
How do I change the Group settings for Default Server to point to the log files? I tried to change the location but I am in "Read only" mode.
Is this the correct log files? folder name v2.6.0.6787-Feb-29-2016 .... contains grplog files and others
I have no problem starting from scratch if that is the resolution. If so, how do I configure the app to start logging as of today.
Thanks,
Milty
