I have recently seen a recurrent error I'm unable to diagnose. "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\DR2." I have a Samsung 980 evo installed, but using CHDSK and Samsung Magician, neither reports a problem with the SSD. The SSD resides on Disk 0. Computer management does not show a Harddisk2 or DR2 (and I have also seen DR4 with the same message.) There are no external USB storage devices attached. The error occurs randomly through the day. I'm assuming this is some kind of virtual device but I don't understand the error.
