Hi all, this is my first post here.

I've never had display problems with my Inspiron until last week. Since that time, there are streaks, glitches, and pixel discolorations on my display. Sometimes if I apply pressure in certain places on my computer (for example, if I rest my palm on top in a certain position), the glitches change, go away, or worsen.

Sometimes if I move the cursor or open and minimize windows, it will "clear up" the glitches and my display will appear normal (for a while at least).

They seem to have worsened in the last week. I've tried changing resolutions, the Dell tech support people have told me how to open the computer up to check the wires, but nothing has worked.

My drivers are up to date, the problems also appear in Bios mode. Sometimes I will get vertical streaks... Sometimes it will look like there is a screen of lines on top of my actual desktop (if that makes any sense).

Please help!
