one of the controllers shows as removed :

i tried to place the controller offline :
Hardware tab>>>right click controller >>advance is grayed out.

it looks like this in the MDSM:

there are lights on the controller (amber light as well).

is it safe to remove the controller and replace it?

 

or there is a safer way to replace the controller?
