Disk drive doesn't open/close/work
Hello,
Im not very good at compuuters, a few months back my Phillips DVD+RW DVD8631 began behaving wierdly, s
poradically opening and closing while i was using my computer. Then it just stopped working all together and now when i try to open it both using the button and the eject command on my PC it doesnt respond, but instead makes a whirring sound as if it wants to open but can't. There is a green light next to the disk drive which i think is suposed to light up when the disk drive is working and this hasnt been happening. I opened it up to see if there was a loose wire or something but could not see that there was.
Can anyone suggest a way of fixing this problem?
