"Host agent not reachable"
Hello All,
I connected an IBM Blade server to my Clariion CX600 and zoned the brocade switch. Within "Connectivity Status" of the CX600 I had to "manually" register the connecions for AO and B1 (which I don't recall doing in the past). After registering the ports, I created a storage group, and assigned a Host to it, in this case, the new IBM blade. I'm able to present a 25 GB LUN to it, and can see the data, but still see "host agent not reachable" withn Connectivity Status, and under the Hosts tab. Is this an erroneous message? Or is this something that needs to be addressed before putting this server into production. And if so, what steps do I need to take to ensure that the Host agent IS reachable?
