I am running XP on my Dimension 8100. I am using bios version xp2. A few days ago and several times since, when I turn on the computer the bios screen appears and loads. Then the screen turns black and I get a message that says to hit F1 to retry the boot or to hit F2 to go to setup. Hitting F1 just repeats the message. After I turn the computer off and on a few times, it does eventuallylboot to windows xp home and runs fine.

I guess this a bios or motherboard problem. Am I correct? what do I do to fix it?
