having moved house I have found my dimension 9200 ( xps061) to have some faults from being intransit.

so to rectify I am trying to completely reinstall the OS and all the drivers.

Having booted from the DVD I come to the installation page where i select my language settings, agree to terms etc.

This part poses no problems.

However, when I come to the stage where I select the drive upon which to install the new OS to it wont let me.

Below I have options to create a partition on the drive, extend it and then to delete the partition. I have tried all these and it simply not let me.

A message at the bottom of the box comes up saying that the drivers can't be found or something along those lines...

Is it a hard-drive issue, can i resolve it>?
