When I ordered my XPS 410, there was an option to choose Firewire add-in card OR Serial / PS/2 add in card.

 

I understand the firewire option adds a PCI card and adds the port on the front of the machine. I really want this, so I chose that option.

 

What if I also want the serial / ps/2 ports? Is that also a PCI card that can easily be added later, or is it a different part added to the chassis or motherboard that would be impossible to add after the fact? Just curious since my system is not yet in production and could call to add it if it is possible.
