Please Help - Inspiron 8500 shuts down randomly

Hi Guys

I have read through a lot of posts about power and inspirons overheating.

I have cleaned the cooling element and installed the cpu temp monitoring and fans software.

sometimes the temp is at 40 and it goes off or it could be at 55 and it goes off at once stage the temp went over 70 and the laptop did not go off.

I have a 8500 and since the day it came out of the box it has been powering off completely.

I could leave it on for 2 hrs and it would not go off. but once I start to make the processor do any work it can go off in 2 mins, 5 mins or 20 mins or more before it powers off.

The laptop is completely goes off and once you hit the power button it will boot back up again no problem until the next power off.

I have run the full dell diag and everything passed.

Upgraded bios and all drivers to latest version.

run a chkdsk on hard drive and no errors.

reseated hd, optical drives and ram.

took ram out and changed it around etc and problem still happens.

I have fully re-installed the OS and the problem still occurs.

Talked to dell tech support and tried everything with them and still problem is occurring.

Any help or advice will be great.

I thing i have tried everything.

Cheers
