Hey my dell xps m1330 suddenly stopped recognizing my power adapter as a dell power adapter so it wont charge the battery. I thought the problem was caused by a windows update but i waited to long and lost the system restore point so i thought i might as weel reformat my computer all together. When i try to run the dell D: partition recovery i run the program PCrestore a window comes up asking me if im sure and that it will delete everything and restor it to factory defaults, i click next then it starts but almost immediatly i get the error message "Tools\dp.sc was denied" i found the file Tools\dp.sc but it is 1 kb is that normal? I spent an hour on the phone with dell but they don't know what to do. Please help!
