I recently purchased my Dell S2722DC monitor and have it connected via the USB-C port to the USB-C port on my Lenovo laptop and the monitor works great. I want to use one of the SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps (USB 3.2Gen 1) Type-A
downstream ports on the monitor for an ethernet 3.0 adapter. With the ethernet adapter plugged in to the monitor, I can't see the ethernet adapter in the device manager and can't get it work. If I plug the adapter directly into the laptop it works fine. Should I be able to get an ethernet adapter to work when plugged into the monitor?
