I've recently encountered a problem with Nvidia Forceware 163.44 beta. 

 

The problem:

Scaling options in the Nvidia Control Panel constantly revert back to "Nvidia scaling"

Options:

Nvidia scaling

Nvidia scaling with fixed-aspect ratio

Use my display's built-in scaling

Do not scale

 

My preferred option is the one with "fixed-aspect ratio," however any attempt to apply this option will reverse itself to the first option when a program with a different resolution is run.  I believe this is a Nvidia software issue, but could it also be the monitor?

 

I do not recall that this issue existed with my old ATI card and drivers.  I find it quite annoying though since some games i play are stretched.
