I am trying to recover/rebuild an old PE 2300.

 

So far I have been able to update the BIOS and Firmware, (BIOS A15, ESM 5.21, BP 5.35) but I still get an error trying to access the Utilities (Shift-Alt-F10). It simply does not respond, I press the keys and it acknowledges it, but then goes stright to the Hard disk bootup. I figure it's because I don't have the proper Tools installed.

 

I need the SA to configure the RAID. I have 6-9GB drives ready to use.

I need the Openmanage to install the tools.

 

I understand from other threads the last SA for PE 2300 was 3.4 and Openmanage 5.0 should still work. I also understand that these last versions for the PE 2300 support W2K3, which is fine. I have two PIII 450 processors (correctly stepped) and 1.5GB Memory.

 

What would be the correct versions of the CD's and where would I get them?

What would be the highest I could upgrade the processors? (I know I need an air baffle for processors higher than 450 and I have it)

Any easy place to get those processors?
