I bought an old second hand MD1000 which looks in perfect state.

My server is a Fujitsu RX300 S7, in which I added an MSI MegaRaid 9286CV-8e, and I bought 2 SFF-8088 to SFF-8470 cables.

All firmwares and drivers are up-to-date.

The MD1000 is equipped with 2 EMMs, whose main leds are solid green.

But both status leds are Amber.  The manual says :  "One or more links into the port are not connected."

Is there anyone who could explain to me what's the meaning of "LINKS" here ?  And is there any common solution to this issue ?
