Exporting MS Outlook 2003 data to MS Outlook 2007
Hi,
I just purchased a new Dell Latitude witn Win XP and MS Outlook 2007, and I would like to be able to convert/transfer all of my e-mail, contacts, and calendar information from my old machine running MS Outlook 2003 to my new machine running MS Outlook 2007. In the past, whenever I upgraded to the newer version of Outlook, I would simply find the .PST file, save it on a disc/CD, and load it into the new machine. For whatever reason, I don't seem to be able to do this this time. Can someone help me as I would really like to quit using Outlook 2003 and start using my Outlook 2007, but first I want to make sure that all my data is loaded properly.
Second question - what is the file extension/file name for the Outlook 2007 file containing all the e-mail, contacts, calendar, etc.? I'd like to be able to copy that file onto a flash drive and save it. Again, in the "old days" I would find the "outlook.pst" file and save it to an external drive. Now I don't seem to be able to do the same thing. How do I do this?
Thanks,
Paul
