Through a conversation with my ISP tech support, I found that I had too many TCP/UDP ports open:

I understand that this can be caused by spyware/malware, and have tried Microsoft Defender to scan and remedy the problem, but have had no success.  Will I have to reformat the HD?  If so, are there any recommendations as to how to do this?  Does anyone have other suggestions to remedy this problem?  Thanks.
