The Mrs. dropped her (old) Laptop today and (at least) broke the screen. Not sure about any other damage? I've remove the hard drive. My plan is to connect the hard drive to another PC. And if it still functions, use the resident backup software program on the drive to perform one final system back up. Then put the backup on a new PC when she buys one.   My problem is : I don't know how to connect the laptop hard drive to another machine, access there moved  hard drive and restore it. Any help would be appreciated.I'm sure I don't have the necessary cabling to connect.
