Service tag

Hello.

I have a dell unity 300 storage array but I can't find the service tag on the web platform.

Hello degbahan,

That is correct, you can renew using your unity serial#.

Hi Josh.

Thank you for the feedback. for the renewal of our license, the tag service was requested. we looked on the platform and it is not there. only the serial number is visible on the platform and not the service tag.

That should be fine, otherwise you may need to look physically at the device.

Last concern, is it essential the number service tag for the renewal of the license? Can we renew the license just with the serial number?
