Apologies for posting this in the wrong forum earlier. Hopefully this helps now.

My laptop started redirecting links from some google searches to other websites. Clicking on a link would take the browser to an intermediary page for redirection before displaying a new page with their own links. This action most often went through bywill.net. For some reason Ad Block Plus had been turned off and turning it back on seems to have stopped this for the moment. I've also disabled a couple services that were set to automatic (no reason for remote registry to be set to automatic). Unfortunately I can no longer be sure of the security of this laptop.

A Hijack this log is pasted below and any help would be greatly appreciated. Bugbatter mentioned some information was missing from the HijackThis log, but  the below is the entirety of the logfile produced.
