Upgrade notebook to Win7; partition questions
I have an XPS 1330 notebook, currently running Vista SP2 (originally came with no SP), with some after-purchase repartitioning to separate OS, programs, data & backups. The as-supplied Dell partitions are still there.
If I wish to upgrade the OS to Win7, is there any reason to keep the Dell recovery partition for Vista?
Can I make a new Win7 recovery partition (I suppose having the Win7 upgrade disk ant the original Dell Vista OS disk makes that redundant), or should I delete the Dell recovery partition & use the now-available space for whatever ???
Thanx in advance,
Bill Zigrang
