I have several Optiplex 755 workstations at work and I need to install the latest intel storage drivers, but the system wont let me. I have a Western Digital Serial ATA hard drive WD800HLFS and when I try to install the intel application for matrix storage manager I get a message stating "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements setup will exit" and then when I click to download the intel driver R165147  a window popup comes up with icons of the following that I can click on: iaahci Security Catalog- iastor Security Catalog- Iastor System File- version text doc- iaahci setup info- iastor setup info- text setup.oem and the driver never downloads. 

I called Dell tech support and they told me to download the intel application and intel driver that wont download. I wonder if its because in the bios setup under the drives section when i click on sata operation I notice it is set to raid /autodetect ATA instead of Raid /autodetect ahci. I have been told because the Operating System I am using in Windows xp that I should have it set to raid /autodetect ATA. I dont understand why I cant download the driver because it shows the drivers available for Windows XP? Does anyone have any advice?
