I'm currently setting up a tape library to backup the data from the Celerra but I only have AUX0 ports available on each DM.

The question is, can I connect the DMs to the SPs through a FC switch?

Is this configuration supported?

Is it a must for them to be directly connected?

I'm using 2 Cisco MDS 9148 switches for redundancy purposes.
