Serice processor reality check
Ok, this is a vague question but I need a best guess in comparing an AX4 to a CX4-120.
1. At what point does an AX SP get saturated? I know that it is a single core 1.6ghz compared to the CX4 1.2ghx dual core and that "well it depends on how your disk layout, sancopy blah blah" But is there a realish expectation of some number of IOPS it will push? Consider best practice and no bells and whistles.
2. How much better/faster is a cx4-120 and what are its realistic expectations? Again, given best practice.
Other considerations - 300 vdi instances and 1/2 dozen servers SQL/Exchange/File.
Current IOPS requirements 5500 over 30 SAS drives.
