Dell Equalogic SAN Pools

I have two questions; both of which I've looked around a bit with no real definitive answers.

  1. We currently have two SANs in the default SAN pool.  What really  happens if one of the RAIDs fail?
    1. From what I'm finding, it is always a RAID0 and if one dies, they both die.  That is not desired.
    2. Is that true?  Or does the Pool create a failover?
  2. Assuming that is the case, how can I split the pool up and just let each SAN handle it's own data?
    1. We could just have some other form of failover in place, if needed.

Thanks for any insight into this.
