PS5000 not getting network link after removal from group

Hi All, I had an old group of 2x PS5000's & 1x PS6000 that are no longer being used. I have another PS6100 that is its own group and it replicates over a WAN to another PS5000, and that PS5000 has run out of space. So I deleted one of the PS5000's from the unused group which should set it to factory defaults, let it do its thing, then shut it off, and brought it back up again and tested the Remote Setup wizard to verify it was able to find it but I did not initialize it. I then shut it back down, put it in the trunk of my car and drove it over to our replication site. Plugged it in and fired it up, and everything looks normal, except now I'm not getting any ethernet link lights on either controller and so obviously the Remote Setup wizard can't find it. I've also tried putty'ing into it over the serial connection, but it doesn't seem to be responding there either. There's no alarms or anything, tried failing over to the other controller multiple times, tried different cables, different switch (these are cheapo netgear/dlink's at remote site, but the existing Ps5000 works fine), etc.

So for fun I deleted the other PS5000 from the unused group and did the same process, minus the transport in the car (it never moved), and it does what I'd expect it to, gets one link light on eth0 on the active controller and is discoverable by Remote Setup.

During the road trip the array was never bumped or anything so I'm at a loss as to whats going on. Any suggestions as to how I can get it back on the network or whats going on? Everythings on fw 7.0.7. Tried calling support but was informed this thing is end of life'd and there was no support available.
