Recently had my Dell Inspiron 519 got out because of either a power surge or power supply itself breaking down it was the original dell power supply that after it broke I read was fault and known to break down so, just assumed that replacing the power supply I could try to get it up and working. After replacing the power supply it would show power to the motherboard with orange light on the board itself and when it starts up the fans on both the processor, and the case would start up as well as the hard-drive although when you plugged in the other devices like usb's mouse and keyboard as well as the monitor; monitor could be working it acts like something is connected but, due to the usb devices not working I cannot wake the monitor or get to anything.

Any suggestions on what is wrong or could be wrong help is desperately needed.
