I need to format my hard drive but it wont allow me to from the start menu... ive tried by reinstalling windows but it just installed another copy of it that I dont need right now... everytime I try to format from the start menu it tells me that it cant because I have programs running that are currently on this hard drive... how can I format? I need to do this badly due to a virus and want to get these files off of my hard drive and start fresh...
