A power surge recently left my precision 340 in operable.

After a two-hour session with the technician he was able to tell me that it was either my power supply, processor, motherboard, or any combination of the three.  He gave me the part numbers and the telephone number to call.

He said Dell has no repair service.

Has Dell abandoned its owners?  I now have a useless $2600 investment unless I order all three parts or order them one at a time over an extended  time.
