Inspiron M5030 ..Boot disk needed..or ???
In April I purchased the Inspiration M5030 running Win7 as operating system and already crashed at least 10 times.
The latest crash was yesterday and I can even use the recovery disk that came with it. I manage to run dignostic and it seems
like it can not see the hard drive all the other test pass. SO, I try to run the recovery disk 1 and (as per there are 2) and I get until
it says do you want to recovery to the factory set up or I also get the option to recover from disk, if I select either one, I get the following message
"YOUR HARD DRIVE SIZE IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR THIS PROCESS. PLEASE USE A HARD DRIVE WITH AT LEAST 298 GB SIZE".
So, I can not do anything, I tried in setting brand new cd's or memory stick with 4GB to do the backup but nothing happens....just a bip sound from
the PC..
Can anyone, please help me out? Do I need another BOOT DISK..if yes, where can I get it from? I am trying to get it from Dell support but do not
seem to find it????HELP PLEASE....
Thanks in advance
Rosie
