Please help with very frustrating Dell 2350 Router Problem

I've been using a dell 2350 wireless router for about 2 years and in the past 6 months it has been driving me crazy.  It routs my comcast cable modem via LAN to my desktop and wirelessly to my xbox360, laptop, and two tivos.  The LAN connection to my desktop is rock solid and somehow reaches speeds higher than most T1's.  The problem is that the wireless connection repeatedly drops over and over at irregular intervals.  It happens mostly on my laptop and on the xbox.  For instance, one day I can be on my laptop for hours without a problem.  The next day I go to use it and about every 5 minutes (no precise intervals, I've tried to time it and it is very random), the wireless card is disconnecting and reconnecting.  The same thing with the xbox live.  I can play one day for hours without a problem and the next day I get lagged out of every game because the wireless keeps dropping out.  It is definitely not a distance problem because everything is fairly close (but on different floors) and always has a strong signal when working.  I'm pretty sure it has to be the wireless settings or hardware in the router because my desktop never has a problem and it is happening on multiple wireless devices.  When it happens, I basically go through a cycle of powering all networking and internet connectivity down and then powering it all back up and once in a while that fixes it temporarily.  I'm basically wondering if anyone has any ideas that I can try before just replacing the router and I'd greatly appreciate it.
