Got a 5810 last week and took out the e5-2640 v3 and swapped it for an e5-1650v3.  All done setting up and I ran Intel xtu just out of curiosity I have no interest in overclocking. The current throttle limiter was yellow and my core multiplier above 2 cores was down to 36 instead of 38. Basically this makes it like I have turbo turned off. I'm not running hot in anyway but it did briefly before I adjusted minimum fan speed to 25 percent. Right after I installed the CPU I ran preboot diag and saw higher temps and that the Auto fan speed . Since adjusting nothing thinks about getting hot.
