Change from RAID 1 to RAID 0

My PC was incorrectly delivered with harddisk configuration RAID 1 MIRROR instead of RAID 0 STRIPE. Can I reconfigure the RAID array myself by following the steps in the "Quick Start Guide" booklet of the RAID controller ? Anybody done this before ?
