I went to reformat my os [xp] and got to the loading of windows,and could not load wmv? file.Options were to retry,skip or end setup.The retry did not work,I then tried the skip,but came up with another file that could not install.So I stopped setup and went through the reinstall again to come up with the same problem.I called dell support,and we tried the reinstall again .This time it says MTLDR is missing Press Ctrt+Alt+Del to restart .To make a long story short,the tech has me running a hard drive test [1 hour and counting]till test is over.My big queston is,what is MTLDR stand for.The tech says mabe somthing is wrong with the HD.

             Off topic queston-When I install all the software will I need to install roxio creator my dvd combo le software for the cd/dvd drives to work.This software is not a full copy with all the functions.Thanks
