I am in the market for a new laptop because my computer is dieing. I want to plan for the future and I don't want to buy a new computer a year from now. I know the dell website says the E1705 will run Vista Aero experience sayng " Yes with 1GB of Dual Channel Memory (Two 512MB Memory Module DIMMS) and a premium graphics card." My question is what will the performance be like running Aero on this machine. Will it run just fine, or will I feel like I am running on a 5 year old machine. In otherwords will it be slugish on this machine.  Here is the config I picked out so far.
